Welcome to Spardhaguru

Step 1: Visit the Official India Post Website

Step 2: Navigate to the “Employee Corner” or “Recruitment” Section

This section contains all official departmental and open market notifications.

Step 3: Check for Departmental (LDCE) Notifications

  • Look for circulars titled:

    • “Notification for LDCE for promotion to LSG/HSG-II/HSG-I”

    • or older labels such as “Postmaster Grade I, II, III Examination.”

  • These are usually released by the Circle Office or the Directorate (Staff Section).

Step 4: Visit Your Circle’s Official Postal Website

Each postal circle (e.g., Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra) publishes departmental notifications on its own website.
Examples:

Go to the “Departmental Exam” or “Notifications” section.

Step 5: Check CEPT (Chennai) Portal for Departmental Exams

For most Departmental Exams (like PS Group ‘B’, IPO, and earlier Postmaster Grades), India Post uses CEPT’s portal:
???? https://ccc.cept.gov.in/

Look for:

  • “Departmental Exam Notification”

  • “Application for LSG/HSG/PS Group B”

Step 6: Verify with Divisional Office

If you’re a serving postal employee, your Divisional Office or Head Office usually circulates the departmental exam notice via:

  • Official email

  • Office order

  • Notice board

You can also contact your Divisional Superintendent (SP) or Assistant Superintendent of Posts (ASP) for the latest schedule.

Typical Notification Schedule

Important Tip

Since the Postmaster Grades have been merged with the General Line Cadre, notifications are now released under titles like:

“LDCE for Promotion to Lower Selection Grade (LSG) / Higher Selection Grade (HSG-II / HSG-I)”

So, if you don’t see “Postmaster Grade” in the title, look for LSG/HSG departmental exam instead — that’s the current equivalent.
