Exam Structure & Phases

  1. Prelims Exam

    • Applicable only to the Open Market category.

    • Employee Category bypasses this stage and goes directly to the Mains.

  2. Mains Exam (Single Phase for Employee Category)

    • Conducted online, objective-type, bilingual (English & Hindi, except English Language section).

    • Duration: 120 minutes (composite time).

    • Total Questions: 100

    • Total Marks: 160

Section-Wise Breakdown (Employee Category Mains)

Important Points to Note

  • No Prelims for Employee Category: The exam begins with Mains directly.

  • Composite Time: Candidates can attempt sections in any order within the 120-minute window.

  • No Negative Marking: You are not penalized for incorrect answers.

  • Bilingual Format: Questions (excluding the English language segment) are available in both English and Hindi.

  • Interview Follows: Shortlisted candidates proceed to the interview stage—Mains + Interview determine final selection.

Employee Category Exam Pattern

  • Stages: Only Mains (no Prelims) → followed by Interview.

  • Mains Composition:

    • 20 Qs on Reasoning/Numerical (20 marks)

    • 20 Qs on GK/Current Affairs/English (20 marks)

    • 60 Qs on Insurance Marketing (120 marks)

  • Total: 100 questions | 160 marks | 120 minutes

  • No negative marking, bilingual, performance + interview determines final selection.
