You can apply online for the SSC CHSL Exam by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Step 2: Register on the SSC Portal (One-Time Registration)

  • Click on the "Register Now" link under the Login section on the homepage.

Fill in the required details:

  • Basic Details: Name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, etc.
  • Contact Details: Mobile number and email ID.
  • Additional Information: Category, Nationality, Educational Qualification, etc.

Upload scanned copies of:

  • Passport-sized Photograph (20–50 KB, JPEG format).
  • Signature (10–20 KB, JPEG format).

Create a username and password for future logins.

  • Submit the form, and a Registration ID and Password will be sent to your registered email and mobile number.

Step 3: Fill Out the SSC CHSL Application Form

  • Log in to your SSC account using your Registration ID and Password.
  • Go to the “Apply” tab and select “CHSL” from the exam options.

Complete the application form by entering:

  • Exam Center Preferences.
  • Educational Details.
  • Other required information.

Step 4: Upload Required Documents

  • Photograph: 20–50 KB in JPEG format, recent and clear.
  • Signature: 10–20 KB in JPEG format.
  • Ensure images meet size and resolution requirements mentioned in the notification.

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee

  • General/OBC Candidates: ₹100
  • SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen/Women Candidates: Exempted (No Fee)

Payment Mode:

  • Online: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
  • Offline: Generate SBI Challan and pay in cash at any SBI branch.

Step 6: Submit and Print Application Form

  • Review the form carefully before submitting.
  • After submission, download and print the application form and fee receipt for future reference.

Important Notes

  • Correction Window: SSC allows corrections during the specified window, so check for errors before final submission.
  • Keep Credentials Safe: Registration ID and password will be required to download admit cards and check results.
  • Regularly check the SSC website for updates on admit cards, exam dates, and notifications.
