1. Nationality/Citizenship

A candidate must be:

• A citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement, or
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanent settlement in India.

Note: Candidates belonging to categories other than Indian citizens must produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

2. Educational Qualification

For All Posts (LDC/JSA/PA/SA):

• Must have passed 12th Standard (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.

For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in C&AG (Comptroller and Auditor General of India):

• Must have passed 12th Standard (10+2) with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

3. Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 27 years (as of 1st January of the exam year).

• There are no specific physical standards required for SSC CHSL posts, as the roles involve clerical and desk-based work.

Important Notes:

• Age Calculation: The cutoff date for age calculation is usually 1st January of the exam year.
• Candidates must possess the educational qualification as of the last date of application submission.
• Proof of date of birth (10th certificate) and educational qualification certificates must be provided during document verification.
