You can apply online for the IBPS PO Exam by following these step-by-step instructions:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

  • Go to the IBPS official website – www.ibps.in 
  • On the homepage, click on the link that says “CRP PO/MT” under the Latest Notifications section.

Step 2: Select the Application Link

  • Look for the link titled “Apply Online for IBPS PO/MT”.
  • Click on the new registration option if you’re applying for the first time.

Step 3: Register Yourself

  • Click on New Registration.
  • Enter your Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Security Code displayed on the screen.
  • Click on Save & Next after entering the details.

Note: An Application Number/Registration ID and Password will be sent to your registered email ID and mobile number. Save these details for future login.

Step 4: Fill the Application Form

  • Log in with the Registration ID and Password.
  • Fill in Personal Details: Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, etc.
  • Fill in Educational Qualifications and Work Experience.
  • Select your preferred exam centers for Prelims and Mains exams.
  • Click  Save & Continue after completing each section.

Step 5: Upload Documents

  • Upload the following scanned documents in the specified format:



Handwritten Declaration Text:

"I, [Candidate's Name], hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required."

Step 6: Review Application

  • Carefully review all the information you entered.
  • Check for errors in spelling, dates, or uploaded documents.
  • Click on Final Submit once you are satisfied.

Step 7: Payment of Application Fee

  • Make the payment through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.

Fee Details:

  • General/OBC: ₹850
  • SC/ST/PwD: ₹175
  • After successful payment, download the e-receipt for future reference.

Step 8: Download and Print Application

  • After payment, your application will be successfully submitted.
  • Download and print the application form and payment receipt for reference.

Important Points to Remember

  • Check Dates: Ensure you apply within the specified dates mentioned in the notification.
  • Document Format: Upload documents in the prescribed format and size.
  • Accurate Details: Enter details carefully as changes are not allowed after submission.
  • Keep Copies: Keep printouts of the application form and payment receipt.
  • Email/SMS Alerts: Regularly check your email and SMS for updates about exam dates, admit card releases, etc.
