  • A Citizen of India or
  • A Subject of Nepal or Bhutan or
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
  • A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from:
  • Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or
  • East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam)
  • With the intention of permanently settling in India.

Note: Candidates from categories (2), (3), and (4) must produce a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Government of India.

2. Age Limit (As on Notification Date)

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years
  • Age Relaxation (Category-wise)



3. Educational Qualification (As on the last date of application)

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India.
  • Candidates must provide proof of graduation completion (mark sheet/degree certificate) during the interview process.

Additional Requirements:

Computer Literacy:

  • Must have basic knowledge of computers.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Internet, and Emailing is preferred.

Language Proficiency:

  • Candidates should be proficient in the official language of the state they are applying for.
  • Reading, Writing, and Speaking skills in the local language may be tested during the selection process.

4. Number of Attempts

  • No specific limit on the number of attempts.
  • Candidates can apply until they reach the maximum age limit as per their category.

5. Other Important Points

  • Documents Verification: All eligibility documents are verified during the interview stage.
  • False Information: Providing false or incomplete information may lead to disqualification.
  • Final Year Students: Not eligible unless their results are declared before the application deadline.
