Welcome to Spardhaguru

1. Technical / Cognitive Test (MCQs)

Common topics covered:

  • Data Structures (arrays, linked lists, stacks/queues) & Algorithms (sorting, searching, recursion)

  • Fundamentals of Databases (joins, keys, normalization)

  • Basics of Cloud Computing, Networking, Operating Systems

  • Pseudo-code / Logic / Basic Programming Constructs (loops, conditionals)

2. English / Written Communication (WET)

Topics typically include:

  • Essay writing task (on a given topic) to test written communication skills.

  • Grammar and vocabulary: sentence correction, error spotting, synonyms/antonyms, cloze tests, para jumbles.

  • Reading comprehension.

3. Game-based Aptitude / Reasoning

A relatively newer section in Capgemini’s fresher drives:

  • Challenges/games such as Motion Challenge, Digit Challenge, Switch Challenge, Grid Challenge, Deductive/Inductive reasoning.

  • This tests logic, multitasking, rapid decision making.

4. Spoken English / Communication Round

  • Listening & speaking tasks; reading aloud, verbal fluency.

  • Ensuring clear pronunciation, comprehension, response to cues.

5. Coding Assessment (for higher-package roles)

  • Languages typically allowed: C, C++, Java (sometimes Python)

  • 1-2 coding problems in 45 minutes (for roles with premium package)

6. Behavioral Competency / Psychometric Test (in some off-campus drives)

  • Tests decision making, behaviour under scenarios, consistency in responses.

⏱ Sample Pattern / Time & Question Estimates

Here are approximate numbers based on recent 2025-batch drives:

  • Technical Test: ~ 40 questions, ~ 40 minutes.

  • English Communication MCQ: ~ 30 questions, ~ 30 minutes.

  • Game-based Aptitude: ~ 4 games selected out of ~24 possible, ~25-30 minutes.

  • Coding: ~ 2 questions, ~ 45 minutes (for certain roles).

  • Behavioral Competency: ~ 100 questions, ~ 20 minutes (off-campus variant)

Preparation Tips

  • Strengthen your fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, basics of DBMS/OS/Networking.

  • For English: practise writing essays (~180-220 words), and strengthen grammar/vocabulary.

  • For game-based aptitude: practise logic puzzles, memory/reasoning games, and timed decision games.

  • Coding: pick a language you’re comfortable with, practise problem-solving under timed conditions.

  • Behavioural/communication rounds: practise speaking clearly, listening exercises, mock scenarios.

  • Take full-length mock tests simulating time & sections so you’re comfortable with the format.
