Steps to check the Notification

1. Go to the official KSP website: https://ksp.karnataka.gov.in (or the recruitment portal they mention). 

2. On the homepage, look for a section labelled “Recruitment”, “Career/Join Us”, “Notifications” or similar.

3. In that section find the entry for “PSI (Civil) / Sub-Inspector Recruitment” or year-specific notice. For example: “PSI (Civil) 402 Posts”. 

4. Click to download the PDF of the detailed advertisement/notification. Read all sections: eligibility, vacancies, pay scale, selection process, important dates.

5. Note the important dates: notification release date, application start & end date, physical tests, written exam date etc. For example, one past notification shows: notification published 3 March 2021, online applications from 1 April 2021 to 7 July 2021. When the “Apply Online” link becomes active, ensure you register, fill form, upload documents & pay fees before the last date. 

6. Keep checking for updates or corrigenda (changes) on the same website in case the schedule or criteria changes. For example the exam date was postponed in one cycle. 

Things to check in the Notification

• Eligibility criteria (age, educational qualification, physical standards)

• Number of vacancies & category-wise breakups

• Pay scale / starting salary & allowances

• Selection process (written exam, PST/ET, medical, interview)

• Important dates (start & end of application, exam date, admit card date)

• Application fee & mode of payment

• Documents to upload, photo/signature requirements, domicile/local language requirement (if any)

• Any special instructions for in-service candidates or reserved categories
