The examination is limited to Group ‘C’ employees of the Department of Posts (DoP) or Department of Telecommunications (DoT) who are eligible for promotion.

Candidates should be in regular service in their current post as per departmental requirements.
Minimum Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is required.

Minimum years of service in the current grade (as of the crucial date in the notification):
MTS: 14 years
Postman / Mail Guard: 11 years
Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant (PA/SA): 9 years
