Steps to Apply Online for LIC AAO Specialist Exam


Step 1: Visit the Official Website

  • Go to https://www.licindia.in 

  • Scroll down to the “Careers” section (at the bottom of the page).

  • Click on “Recruitment of AAO (Specialist/Generalist)” when the notification is active.

???? Step 2: Open the Application Link

  • On the recruitment page, you’ll see a link that says “Apply Online”.

  • This will redirect you to the IBPS online application portal (LIC uses IBPS for conducting online exams).

???? Step 3: Registration (New User)

  • Click on “Click here for New Registration”.

  • Enter:

    • Name

    • Mobile number

    • Email ID

  • A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated and sent to your email/SMS.

???? Step 4: Fill Application Form

  • Log in with the Registration No. and Password.

  • Fill details in different sections:

    • Personal Information (Name, DOB, Gender, Category, etc.)

    • Educational Qualification (degree details, specialization, passing year)

    • Communication Details (address, contact number, email)

    • Post Applied For (select AAO – IT / CA / Actuarial / Legal / Rajbhasha).

???? Step 5: Upload Documents

As per official specifications:

  • Photograph (200x230 px, 20–50 KB, JPG/JPEG)

  • Signature (140x60 px, 10–20 KB, black ink, JPG/JPEG)

  • Left Thumb Impression (20–50 KB)

  • Handwritten Declaration (in applicant’s handwriting, scanned, 50–100 KB)

⚠️ Declaration text (sample given in notification) must be written in English only.

???? Step 6: Application Fee Payment

  • Pay the exam fee online using Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Wallet.

  • Fee (based on previous recruitment):

    • SC/ST/PwBD → ₹85 + GST

    • Others → ₹700 + GST

  • After successful payment, an e-receipt will be generated.

???? Step 7: Final Submission

  • Recheck all details carefully (no correction after final submit).

  • Click on “Final Submit”.

  • Download and save the Application Form & Fee Receipt PDF for future use.
