The IBPS RRB Office Assistant Exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) to recruit Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across India. Selection Process

  • Preliminary Exam - Qualifying in nature.
  • Mains Exam - Final merit is based on performance in this stage.
  • Proficiency Test in Local Language (if applicable) - Candidates must demonstrate local language proficiency if they did not study it at the 10th or 12th standard level.

Note: No Interview for this post. Final selection is based on Mains Score and Document Verification.

 IBPS RRB Office Assistant Salary :

Basic Pay : ₹19,900 per month (starting basic pay as per 7th Pay Commission)

Gross Salary (Before deductions) : ₹31,000 to ₹33,000 per month (varies slightly by location)

In-hand Salary (After deductions) : ₹23,000 to ₹26,000 per month (after PF, NPS, tax, etc.)

Note : Salary may vary slightly based on posting location (rural/semi-urban) and bank-specific policies.

2. House Rent Allowance (HRA)

8–10% of Basic Pay
