1. Educational Qualification

• Minimum Qualification: 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board or equivalent.

• Computer Knowledge: Must have proficiency in basic computer operations, data entry, and typing.

• Typing Skills:

  • English: Usually 35–40 words per minute (WPM)

  • Hindi: Often 30–35 words per minute (depending on postal circle)

2. Age Limit

• General Category: 18–27 years

• Relaxation: As per Government of India rules for reserved categories:

  • SC/ST: +5 years

  • OBC: +3 years

  • PwD: +10 years

  • Ex-servicemen: as per notification

3. Nationality

• Candidate must be:

  • Citizen of India or

  • Subject of Nepal/Bhutan or

  • Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with intent to settle permanently

4. Other Conditions

• Verification: Educational certificates and typing/computer skills may be verified during document verification or skill test.
