1. Examination Type

  • Mode: Written examination (generally open book for departmental LDCE exams)

  • Conducted By: Controller General of Communication Accounts (CGCA)

2. Papers & Structure

Open Book: Candidates are allowed to refer to prescribed manuals and handbooks during the exam.

3. Marks and Qualifying Criteria

  • Maximum Marks: 100 per paper

  • Qualifying Marks:

    • General Category: 45% per paper; 50% aggregate

    • SC/ST Category: 38% per paper; 43% aggregate

  • Exemption: Candidates scoring ≥60% in a paper are exempted from that paper in the next two subsequent examinations.
