The Railway RPF (Railway Protection Force) Sub Inspector (SI) exam syllabus is divided into three main sections as part of the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Here’s the detailed syllabus:

1. General Awareness (50 Questions, 50 Marks)

This section tests the candidate’s knowledge of current events, general knowledge, and basic concepts of science and technology.

2. Arithmetic (35 Questions, 35 Marks)

This section evaluates the candidate’s mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

3. General Intelligence & Reasoning (35 Questions, 35 Marks)

This section assesses logical reasoning, problem-solving ability, and analytical skills.

Important Points

  • The CBT contains 120 questions worth 1 mark each, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
  • The exam duration is 90 minutes.
  • Questions will be in multiple languages, including Hindi, English, and regional languages.

Preparation Tips

  • Focus on strengthening the General Awareness section as it carries the most weight.
  • Practice mock tests and previous years' question papers to improve speed and accuracy in Arithmetic.
  • For Reasoning, solve puzzles and practice logical questions regularly.
