To apply online for the SSC CPO (Central Police Organization) exam, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Step 2: Register (If New User) 

  • Click on the "Register Now" link under the Login section.

Fill in the required details in the SSC Registration Form:

  • Basic details: Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, etc.
  • Contact details: Mobile number and Email ID.
  • Educational qualifications.

Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature as per the SSC guidelines:

  • Photograph: JPEG format, size between 20 KB to 50 KB.
  • Signature: JPEG format, size between 10 KB to 20 KB.
  • Submit the registration form, and a unique Registration ID and Password will be generated.

Step 3: Log in to Your Account

  • Use the Registration ID and Password to log in to the SSC portal.
  • Go to the "Apply" section and select CPO Examination from the available options.

Step 4: Fill Out the Application Form

Complete the application form with the required details:

  • Personal details.
  • Educational qualifications.
  • Post preferences.
  • Exam center preferences.
  • Verify all the details carefully before proceeding.

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee

  • Fee Amount: ₹100 (Women, SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen are exempted).

Payment Modes:

  • Online: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
  • Offline: Generate an SBI challan and pay the fee at an SBI branch.

Step 6: Submit the Application

  • Once the payment is successful, review the application and click "Final Submit".
  • Download and save a copy of the application form for future reference.

Step 7: Check for Confirmation

  • After submission, check your email or the SSC portal for confirmation of your application.
  • Keep the application form and fee receipt safely.

Important Notes

  • Ensure all details match your official documents (e.g., name, date of birth).
  • Upload the photograph and signature as per the specific dimensions mentioned in the instructions.
  • Complete the application well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
