To apply online for the SSC JE (Junior Engineer) exam, follow these step-by-step instructions:

Step 1: Visit the Official SSC Website

Go to the official SSC website:  https://ssc.gov.in/ 

Step 2: Register on the SSC Portal (One-Time Registration)

• Click on "Register Now" under the Login section on the homepage.

Fill out the One-Time Registration (OTR) form with the following details:

• Personal Information (Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, DOB, etc.)
• Contact Information (Mobile Number and Email ID).
• Aadhaar Number or any valid ID proof.

Upload scanned copies of:

• Passport-size Photograph (JPEG format, 20–50 KB).
• Signature (JPEG format, 10–20 KB).
• Submit the registration form.
• Note down the Registration Number and Password sent to your email and mobile.

Step 3: Login and Apply for SSC JE Exam

• Go back to the homepage and log in using your Registration Number and Password.
• Click on the "Apply" tab and select Junior Engineer (JE) Examination.

Fill in the required details, such as:

• Engineering Discipline (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical)

Step 4: Upload Documents
