AAO (Generalist)


Step 1: New Registration

  • Go to the official LIC website: https://licindia.in/

  • Navigate to the "Careers" section on the homepage.

  • Find the recruitment advertisement for "Recruitment of AAO (Generalists/ Specialists/ Assistant Engineers) 2025" and click on the "Apply Online" link.

  • Click on the "Click Here for New Registration" button.

  • Fill in your basic details, including your name, contact number, and a valid email ID. A provisional registration number and password will be generated and sent to your registered email and mobile number.

Step 2: Fill the Application Form

  • Log in using the registration number and password you received.

  • Carefully fill in all the required details, including personal information, educational qualifications, and category.

  • Select your preferred exam centers.

  • Double-check all the entered information before proceeding.

Step 3: Upload Documents

You will need to upload scanned copies of the following documents in the specified format and size. Make sure they are prepared beforehand.

  • Photograph: A recent passport-size color photograph (20-50 KB).

  • Signature: Your signature in black ink on white paper. Signatures in capital letters will not be accepted (10-20 KB).

  • Left Thumb Impression: Your left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink (20-50 KB).

  • Handwritten Declaration: A declaration in your own handwriting in English, on white paper with black ink. The text must be: "I, (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required." (50-100 KB).

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee

  • After uploading the documents, you will be directed to the payment gateway.

  • The application fee is non-refundable and can be paid online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Step 5: Final Submission and Print

  • Once the payment is successful, you will receive an e-receipt.

  • Click on "Final Submit" to complete the application process.

  • Download and print a copy of the final application form for your records. This printout will be required during the document verification stage.
