SSC GD Constables are uniformed personnel responsible for internal security, border security, and law & order duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Duties : Guarding borders, installations, airports, government buildings
Law Enforcement : Assisting state police in controlling riots, protests, and emergencies
Border Patrol : Patrolling and surveillance in border areas (BSF, ITBP, SSB)
Crowd Control : Handling VIP security, election duties, and disaster relief operations
Combat Readiness : Participating in anti-Naxal and counter-insurgency operations (CRPF, BSF)
